Astute's Renewables team is exclusively partnering with a leading UK-based renewable energy developer focused on biomethane and anaerobic digestion infrastructure to recruit a Business Administrator for its Oxfordshire office.

The strategically important Business Administrator role comes with a salary of 32,000, performance-related bonus and a company pension scheme.

Responsibilities and Duties

Reporting to the Director of Agriculture and Feedstocks, you will:

  • Support and maintain the operational compliance framework in collaboration with the Feedstock and HSQE teams.
  • Monitor and action outcomes from internal audits, ensuring all protocols and documentation are completed accurately.
  • Maintain staff training records and help ensure compliance across all sites.
  • Develop and manage reporting and data analysis systems that feed into the company's central KPIs.
  • Update and manage the Feedstock CRM database for real-time compliance tracking.
  • Administer and update the company's SharePoint and communications systems, particularly around HSQE.
  • Collate compliance-related documents including complaints, incidents, and contractor information.
  • Conduct waste management checks and maintain traceability of products as required.
  • Assist in internal and external audit preparation and ensure timely provision of documentation.
  • Help set up supplier and contractor accounts via the company's procurement portal.

Professional Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Experience producing reports, managing data, and working to deadlines in a high-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001) is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with anaerobic digestion, agriculture, or environmental compliance.
