We are a welcoming and inclusive Primary School located in the heart of Ongar, seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children across a range of abilities and needs, working closely with class teachers and our SENCO.


Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs
Assist in the planning and delivery of differentiated learning activities
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Support pupils social and emotional development
Work collaboratively with staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes for children


The ideal candidate will:
Have experience working with children, ideally within a school setting
Show empathy, patience, and enthusiasm
Be confident supporting children with a range of learning and behavioural needs
Hold a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching and Learning) - desirable but not essential
Be reliable, flexible, and a strong team player
