Family Law Solicitor | South Gloucestershire | Full Time / Part Time will be considered | 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (office hours). The solicitor is expected to attend the office daily, but part-time, flexible working, or working from home one to two days a week can be arranged | Competitive Salary depending on PQE

Our client is a client-focused law firm serving Bristol and South Gloucestershire. Established in 2014, the firm specialises in Family Law, Employment Law, and Legal Disputes. They are known for their approachable, compassionate service and commitment to resolving matters amicably and cost-effectively.

They are looking for a Family Law Solicitor who is Newly Qualified or above. This is an exciting opportunity for a Family Law Solicitor looking for personal and career development opportunities in a modern and dynamic Firm.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • The successful Family Law solicitor will demonstrate expertise in dealing with Family matters, including:
    • Divorce
    • Children matters
    • Financial matters
    • Able to manage your own case load and work with a high degree of independence.
    • Knowledge of Litigation would be advantageous.
    • Strong IT skills and experience working with a case management system.
    • Have knowledge of Solicitors' Accounting Regulations.
    • Be a team player.
    • The ability to support and work with a friendly small team in a niche high street Solicitors' office.
    • Able to build and maintain good rapport with clients, as well as provide clear and accurate advice.

What will your role look like?

  • Manage a varied caseload of family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, and children matters
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, while contributing to a supportive team environment
  • Provide clear, practical legal advice to clients in a compassionate and professional manner
  • Attend court hearings and represent clients when required
  • Maintain accurate records using a case management system
  • Liaise with clients, third parties, and colleagues in a timely and efficient manner
