- Work closely with students on a 1:1 or small group basis to support learning and emotional development.
- Help implement personalised support strategies in line with EHCPs or behaviour plans.
- Assist the class teacher in managing behaviour and creating a positive, structured classroom.
- Support social interaction, engagement and confidence building in pupils who may struggle with trust or routine.
- Act as a positive role model and provide a calm, consistent presence throughout the day.
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH, SEND, or behavioural needs (education, youth work, or care background welcomed).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A calm, empathetic and resilient nature – essential in an AP environment.
- Team player with a flexible and proactive approach.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through us).
