- Provide 1:1 and group support for pupils with SEN and SEMH
- Support children with behaviour regulation and emotional needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers and the SENCO to implement individual support plans
- Assist with classroom activities and differentiated learning
- Use positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques
- Encourage pupil independence and engagement in learning
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) – Essential
- Experience working with SEN and/or SEMH children – Preferred
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and work with empathy and patience
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
