Description

• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts to support strategic decision-making.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Monitor financial performance and identify areas for cost optimisation.
• Assist with year-end financial reporting and liaise with external auditors.
• Oversee cash flow management and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Maintain and enhance internal financial controls and processes.
• Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and guidance.
• Support ad hoc financial projects and business case assessments as required.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• Working towards a professional qualification in accounting, such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
• Experience in preparing management accounts and financial reports.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
