- Prepare monthly management accounts for the divisional business, including profit & loss, variance analysis, and reconciliation work
- Analyse performance of key cost areas
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process
- Manage transactional activity, i.e. AP, AR and cash management across division
- Monitor KPIs, reporting and analysis
- Assist in producing reports for senior management and the board
- Contribute to process improvements and continual improvement practice
- Assist with external audits
- Support year-end procedures
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
- Additional ad-hoc tasks requested by Financial Controller
- At least 2 years’ experience within a similar role
- Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA or AAT Qualified
- Able to develop and maintain good internal and external working relationships
- Able to efficiently manage a high-volume workload
- Good IT and MS Excel skills
- Proactive, self-motivated and organised
- Able to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively
