Our exclusive client, based in Chorley are currently recruiting for a purchase ledger clerk/accounts assistant to join their team. This busy established company is well known in the area and have a very stable and long standing team.

Duties include:

  • Scan and process utility invoices ready for payment
  • Assist in the processing of non-utility invoices for all companies
  • Assist with payment runs
  • Bank reconciliations for all companies
  • Dealing with queries linked with purchase invoices
  • Working daily on Excel
  • Support the wider finance team when needed

You must have strong interpersonal skills, have a keen eye for detail, naturally work methodically and have the ability to multitask. The client will consider someone who would like to grow and develop their accounting skills and will pay AAT study support or they will also consider someone who doesnt want to study and is really doing this type of role.

In return you will receive 22 days holidays plus bank holidays raising to 25 days, an excellent pension, 2 x salary life cover, free on site parking and study support (should you want it)
