Maintenance Engineer (Nights) - Lancashire - Salary £45,000 - 50,000+About the CompanyOur client is an established independent waste & recycling business that is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team for the night shift. The business operates a number of sites across the North West and is part of a conglomerate of independent businesses. You’ll be part of a small, close-knit team of Maintenance Engineers responsible for the upkeep and repair of machinery and equipment used in waste processing and recycling facilities including maintenance, installations, upgrades and breakdowns.Maintenance Engineer (Nights) - Requirements

  • NVQ /City & Guilds
  • Must be familiar with the industrial environment
  • Heavy plant/heavy process equipment experience
  • Welding experience

Maintenance Engineer (Nights) - Responsibilities

  • Maximising plant uptime and minimising plant downtime
  • Communicating at all levels of engineering and production departments the status of plants and ongoing projects
  • Investigating, reporting, and resolving repetitive engineering faults
  • Maintaining the maintenance system logs, follow up actions, fault, and diagnosis
