GPW are looking for a senior Project Engineer foran Engineering and Projects Delivery business specialising in the design, installation, management and consultancy of bulk material handling systems across a number of sectors, with specific expertise in tunnelling, aggregates and ports. With long standing industry expertise, includdingsuccessfully delivering projects in the UK, Europe and Asian markets.

The Opportunity

The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for the integrity and delivery of the engineering and technical elements of work focusing on the execution of the project engineering tasks, ensuring the scope is well defined, controlled, understood, and aligned with the deliverables and safety requirements and reports to the Engineering Manager.

The Senior Project Engineer must work closely with the engineers across the business (technical, process, design and project) as well as other functional managers and subcontractors to progress these deliverables and manage/ support any queries that may arise.

Minimum Requirements:

  • HNC in Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Previous experience and understanding of heavy engineering, bespoke engineered technical solutions and process plant design.
  • Proficient with the use of 2D software drawing packages.
  • Have a working knowledge of ATEX regulations.
