Class 1 HIAB in Chorley

Ideal Recruit is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HIAB Drivers for work based around the Chorley area.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with daily start times between 6:00 and 7:00 AM.

Shifts typically last around 12 hours, depending on the workload.

Job duties include:

• Transporting plant machinery between sites (e.g. telehandlers, scissor lifts, dumpers, excavators, fuel tanks, generators).

• Collecting supplies from builders merchants and delivering to construction sites.

• Moving cars and vans to garages or worksites.

• Picking up and delivering materials between various sites.

The role is primarily based in the North West and North Wales, though nationwide travel may be occasionally required.

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• HIAB licence.
• Competent in operating plant machinery.
• A minimum of 6 months of experience as a Class 1 driver.
• Valid Driver’s CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points for minor endorsements.

Rates of Pay: PAYE £19.50 per hour.
