Implementation Consultant – Fixed-Term Contract (6 Months)Location: Chorley near Preston, Lancashire - commute from Blackburn, Blackpool, FleetwoodSalary - 40kKey Skills: Implementation Consultant, Project Delivery, SDLC, Testing, Jira, Database TechnologiesAn established and leading software provider within the energy sector is seeking an experienced Implementation Consultant for a fixed-term 6-month contract. This role will focus on managing the full implementation lifecycle and data migration process for a portfolio of retained clients.Role Overview: You will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery—from initial scoping and planning through configuration, data migration, training, and post-implementation support. The role requires close client interaction and a hands-on approach to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction.Core Responsibilities:

Manage full software implementation lifecycle, including scoping, configuration, deployment, go-live, and post-launch support.
Lead and support data migration efforts, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
Act as the primary point of contact for project-related IT and migration issues.
Understand client requirements and configure the software solution accordingly.
Conduct product demonstrations, deliver user training, and contribute to the development of reports and support materials.
Maintain detailed project documentation and provide regular status updates.
Facilitate project "kick-off" and post "Go Live" assessment meetings.

Essential Experience:

Minimum 3 years' experience in an Implementation Consultant or Business Analyst role.
Energy industry experience is essential.
Demonstrated success in delivering software implementations from installation to go-live.
Strong client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to interact across all organizational levels.
Proven ability to manage multiple workloads and maintain effective client relationships.
Experience in managing data migration projects.
Working knowledge of SDLC, Jira, and database technologies.
Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
