Winsearch is recruiting on behalf of a leading specialist in high-quality architectural façade solutions. Renowned for their precision engineering and contribution to prestigious projects across the UK, they design and manufacture innovative cladding systems that transform buildings into modern architectural landmarks.

We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Technician to join their technical team in Chorley. This is a temporary, ongoing position offering a starting rate of £15.20 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and modify 2D CAD drawings using AutoCAD.

   

• Interpret architectural and structural drawings to create accurate façade panel layouts.

   

• Maintain drawing standards, layers, blocks, and templates to ensure clarity and consistency.

   

• Support the estimating and design teams by providing high-quality technical drawings.

   

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with DWG file formats.

   

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.

   

• Basic understanding of façade systems and construction terminology.

   

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
