Temporary Production Manager Required - (6 months)

Our client is a global, market leader in the design, development and manufacturing of drinks dispensing products.

On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit a Production Manager support. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Production Manager in delivering efficient production operations. Assisting with coordinating manufacturing activities, ensuring compliance with health & safety standards, maintaining production schedules, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a 6 month contract, working hours are Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm and Friday 8am-1pm based on their site in Chorley.

Package:

  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays (pro-rata)

Temporary Production Manager Support (6 months) - Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing risk assessments and attending health & safety meetings.
  • Support production departments to ensure items are planned, produced, and delivered to meet customer demands.
  • Help ensure production is efficient and meets agreed quality standards.
  • Liaise with production teams to organize workflow and resolve issues promptly.
  • Supervise, monitor, and evaluate the performance of production personnel.
  • Determine and allocate resources required to meet production targets.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations across production areas.
  • Plan and monitor site maintenance activities.
  • Assist in monitoring production performance and implementing improvements.

Temporary Production Manager Support (6 months)- Requirements:

  • Proven experience supporting or managing production teams in a manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
  • Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting principles
  • Experience in reporting on key production metrics
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP software systems
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities with strong attention to detail
  • Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
