Quality Control Technician (Temporary Ongoing)

Location: Chorley
Salary: 25,000 - 26,000 per annum (pro rata)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
TeamJobs is recruiting for a Quality Control Technician to join a leading organisation in Chorley on a temporary ongoing basis. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for quality and a keen eye for detail who is available to start quickly.



The Role

As a Quality Control Technician, you will:

  • Work closely with the Quality Supervisor to maintain high-quality standards across all products.

  • Carry out quality testing and inspections against ISO:9001 standards on inbound goods and finished products.

  • Approve products for release based on quality checks and maintain accurate records of test results.

  • Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and report any issues promptly.

  • Support fault analysis, prepare reports, and help drive corrective actions to prevent reoccurring issues.

  • Collaborate with warehouse and interdepartmental teams to achieve quality objectives.

  • Assist with producing quality documentation, process instructions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Occasionally travel to other sites as required.



About You

  • Can work independently and as part of a team.

  • Is confident using electrical and testing equipment.

  • Understands electronic principles, technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

  • Has solid IT skills and follows instructions and procedures accurately.
