Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
TeamJobs is recruiting for a Quality Control Technician to join a leading organisation in Chorley on a temporary ongoing basis. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for quality and a keen eye for detail who is available to start quickly.
The Role
As a Quality Control Technician, you will:
Work closely with the Quality Supervisor to maintain high-quality standards across all products.
Carry out quality testing and inspections against ISO:9001 standards on inbound goods and finished products.
Approve products for release based on quality checks and maintain accurate records of test results.
Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and report any issues promptly.
Support fault analysis, prepare reports, and help drive corrective actions to prevent reoccurring issues.
Collaborate with warehouse and interdepartmental teams to achieve quality objectives.
Assist with producing quality documentation, process instructions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Occasionally travel to other sites as required.

Has strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Can work independently and as part of a team.
Is confident using electrical and testing equipment.
Understands electronic principles, technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
Has solid IT skills and follows instructions and procedures accurately.
Is flexible and adaptable in approach.
