A slinger banksman plays a vital role on construction or industrial sites where lifting operations occur. Their job combines two intertwined roles:

Slinger:Responsible for physically attaching and detaching loads to cranes or lifting equipment, selecting correct lifting accessories, balancing loads, and preparing them according to safety standards.

Banksman:Focuses on directing crane and heavy vehicle operators safely by providing clear hand signals or radio communication to guide the movement of loads, vehicles, and machinery around the site.
Together, the slinger banksman acts as the eyes and ears of crane operators, who often have restricted visibility, ensuring that lifting and moving heavy loads happens safely and efficiently without risks to personnel or equipment
