Working for a reputable and established organisation who provide support and care to vulnerable adults with complex needs, learning and physical disabilities we are seeking a passionate Care Supervisor to join their team working within the supported living services. The organisation prides itself on fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where both staff and service users thrive.



The role:

  • Supervise and support a team of care staff in delivering high-quality care to individuals with profound learning and physical disabilities
  • Ensure compliance with care standards and regulations, maintaining a safe and effective environment for service users.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individual care plans tailored to the needs of each service user.
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews of service users' needs and progress.
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Manage medication administration and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
  • Assist the manager with the daily running of the service
  • Act as a point of contact for families, external agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the team and among service users.


About you:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in adult services, particularly in a supervisory role
  • Strong understanding of medication management and personal care practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to manage resources effectively.
  • Knowledge of care management principles and best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and their families.
  • Competence in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
