Our client, a prominent organisation in the energy and nuclear sector, is currently seeking a Steel Erector to join their team. This is a contract role offering a unique opportunity to work on significant projects within the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Erecting and fitting steel structures on site
- Ensuring all work complies with industry standards and project specifications
- Collaborating with other trades and project personnel to ensure seamless project delivery
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Utilising technical drawings and plans to guide work
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order
- Completing all tasks within specified timelines
Job Requirements:
- CCNSG (Client Contractor National Safety Group) certification
- Experience as a Steel Erector or Fitter, preferably within the energy or nuclear sectors
- NVQ Level 3 in Steel Erecting
- Strong understanding of steel erection and fitting principles
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of health and safety
