- Assist the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports, dashboards, and performance insights.
- Develop and update accurate P&L and cash flow forecasts, identifying key business drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Monitor and forecast capital expenditure (CapEx) and major development projects.
- Support the annual budgeting process, working closely with department leads to ensure timely, data-driven submissions.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and commercial teams to provide financial analysis and forward-looking projections.
- Assist with the administration of sales bonus schemes and monthly commission calculations.
- Conduct variance analysis, revenue tracking, and cost analysis to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes, reporting tools, and forecasting accuracy.
The ideal candidate for the Financial Analysis job:
- Some proven experience as a Financial Analyst, Management Accountant, Assistant Accountant, FP&A Analyst, or someone PQ or Newly Qualified seeking their first commerce finance industry role. QBE also considered.
- Proficiency in Excel - to a strong level
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, excellent rapport building skills.
- Professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CFA) are a plus but not required.
