My client is a Top 20 Accountancy firm and they are looking for an Audit and Accounts Manager or Assistant Manager to join their team in Christchurch .
This is a client facing role with the opportunity to establish strong relationships across their extensive portfolio of audit clients in the SME sector and comes with excellent prospects for career development.
Responsibilities :
• Either assist with or have responsibility for managing and reviewing audits• Training and mentoring of junior staff• Complete or work as part of a team to complete complex areas of audit files• Complete or work as part of a team to deal with non-routine accounting transactions within audits• Prepare audit files for RI review• Show keen interest in whole firm• Improve systems and efficiencies
Requirements:
• ACA or ACCA qualified• Minimum of 2 years PQE at Senior level• Previous Audit experience in practice• Advanced level of technical knowledge in auditing and accounting standards• Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective client relationships• Collaborative team player• Pro-active, shows initiative, exercise judgement and take ownership of tasks from start to finish• Strong organisation skills and attention to detail• Ambitious
