We are partnering with a well-established and rapidly growing local charity to find an exceptional Director of Services who can lead with vision, drive operational excellence, and propel the organisation to new heights.

What youll be doing:
As Director of Services, you will lead the charity through a critical phase of growth, overseeing key service areas, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of innovation and professional development. This is a unique opportunity to drive meaningful change and contribute to the charity's ongoing success.

About the company:
Our client is a charity that exists to empower the lives of those with autism. They provide a variety of different services within education, preparation for adulthood, adult services and training.

What we are looking for:

  • Oversee budget management and resource allocation across all service provisions, ensuring efficient use of resources to meet strategic goals.
  • Work closely with the Executive Team and report directly to the CEO to develop and implement strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Monitor the progress of development projects, ensuring they remain on track and align with broader organisational goals.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of quality assurance frameworks to ensure continuous service improvement and effectiveness.
  • Design and implement innovative solutions to improve service-user outcomes and elevate care quality.
  • Build and nurture strategic partnerships with local authorities, commissioners, and educational institutions to enhance service delivery.
  • Identify new business opportunities for acquisition, development, or growth using business acumen and initiative to achieve strategic targets.
  • Ensure full compliance with relevant regulations and stay informed of any legislative and regulatory changes.
  • Represent the organisation at external forums and networking events, expanding, and strengthening key professional networks.
  • Develop, maintain, and review policies and procedures that support operations and ensure adherence to best practices across services.
  • Drive growth by creating clear, actionable plans, holding teams accountable, and embedding the organisations vision and culture throughout all levels.
  • 5 years of proven successful senior leadership and change management experience.
  • A detailed understanding of specialist education, including Primary and Secondary, HE and FE.
  • Proven track record of strategic Adult Social Care turnaround and transformation.
