Successful FMCG/Retail business require a Logistics Coordinator. Applicants need logistics or supply chain experience, dealing with customer orders and liaising with 3PLs/hauliers/couriers.
The Logistics Coordinator will work in a team of Logistics Coordinators reporting to a Logistics Manager and will be charged with logistics planning and co-ordination of our customers' orders from point of receipt through to delivery
The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for the review, planning and scheduling of customer orders through DC, RCC and eCommerce channels, maintaining stock levels and releasing pick/pack lists to warehouse colleagues. Achieving customer OTD/OTIF and maintaining customer and stock data in the WMS system are also important facets of the role.
Specific duties of the Logistics Coordinator include:
- Receive customer orders via portals
- Release workload (Pick & Pack list) for warehouse colleagues
- Create despatch notes, labels, mark shortages
- Track the progress of customer deliveries and liaise with 3PL partners
- Update customers and internal stakeholders in regards to any potential delays
Logistics Coordinator applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Logistics, Supply Chain or Transport Planning experience
- Previous experience with Logistics, Warehousing or Supply Chain planning tools - WMS, ERP, MRP etc.
- Experience in the use of MS packages
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive, positive self-starter
