As a Quality Inspector, you’ll be joining a specialist precision engineering business where quality is embedded in every step of production. You’ll inspect a wide variety of machined and fabricated components, working with industry-leading tools to ensure parts meet strict engineering specifications.

As a Quality Inspector, you’ll benefit from:

As a Quality Inspector, your responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting both in-house and externally manufactured components for compliance
- Using manual inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, shadow graphs, etc.)
- Identifying non-conformance and supporting the quality team in root cause investigations
- Promoting quality across the shop floor, working collaboratively to uphold high standards
- Supporting FAIRs, NCRs and related documentation in line with customer and industry standards
As a Quality Inspector, your skills and experience will include:
- Engineering background with relevant qualifications or hands-on shop floor experience
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, tolerances and quality control principles
- Confident with a wide range of manual measuring equipment
- Good numerical, IT and communication skills
- A proactive, team-focused attitude and keen attention to detail
Desirable but not essential:
- Experience working within Aerospace or Defence industries
- Familiarity with AS9102 FAIRs, NCRs, and BS EN9100 standards
- Knowledge of CMM (Mitutoyo Crysta Apex) and/or Hexagon Absolute Arm 3D scanning
