Temporary Finance Assistant - 37.5 hrs a week - £14.50phr + Weekly pay

You require a valid & enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (platinum employment can support you with this, the DBS will then be yours to keep)

This role will run ASAP until the 22nd July 2025, however this role could become permenant for the right candidate.

Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join their finance team on a temporary basis. In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring the efficient processing of financial information.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Handling basic finance processing tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Managing invoices, including processing, coding, and reconciliation.
  • Raising and processing purchase orders.
  • Maintaining and updating the finance system (XERO is essential).
  • Providing general administrative support to the finance team.

What you'll bring:

  • Proven experience working as a Finance Assistant.
  • Essential knowledge and practical experience of using XERO accounting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
