Position: CNC Programmer - TurningLocation: CinderfordPermanent | Full-Time | Competitive Salary + Shift Allowance
I'm working with a well-established precision engineering company in Cinderford who are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer- Turner to join their team. This role offers variety, great benefits, and the chance to work on exciting projects using Fanuc-controlled horizontal and vertical turning machines.
The Role:
- Set, program, and operate CNC lathes with a range of Fanuc controls
- Produce small to medium components in cast iron, duplex stainless steel, and bronze
- Handle both castings and billet work
- Maintain precision and quality standards
- Work collaboratively in a busy engineering environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Apprenticeship-trained CNC Turner (or equivalent experience)
- Confident with Fanuc controls
- Skilled in working to tight tolerances
- Flexible, proactive, and eager to develop skills (training available)
Shift Pattern (Double Day):
- Week 1: Mon-Fri | 06:00 - 14:00
- Week 2: Mon-Thu | 14:00 - 22:00, Fri 06:00 - 14:00
