The Role -Restaurant General ManagerAs Restaurant General Manager, youll play a key role in shaping the guest experience, leading a passionate front-of-house team, and ensuring our service matches the quality and ethos of our food. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is excited to champion sustainability in hospitality.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant and front-of-house team
- Deliver warm, seamless service in line with our sustainable ethos
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen and farm teams to align guest experience with seasonal menus
- Ensure health, safety and hygiene standards are maintained
- Manage reservations, events, and guest communications
- Support with recruitment, rota planning and budgeting
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a high-quality hospitality setting
- A genuine passion for sustainable food systems and ethical hospitality
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- A calm, professional presence under pressure
- Familiar with using reservation and POS systems
- Flexible, proactive, and a strong communicator
