Domestic Couple, Live-in.
We are seeking a capable and professional couple to support the running of a private home in the Cotswolds, primarily across weekends and holidays (Friday to Monday). The role comes with live-in accommodation in a private, self-contained flat located just a few minutes from the main residence. A 4x4 vehicle will be provided for all work-related duties.
This is a live-in role suited to a couple who take pride in high standards, are experienced in hospitality and home care, and enjoy varied responsibilities.
Key Details:
- Non-negotiable working days: Friday to Monday (4 days/week)
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday are free. Some weekends will be free, depending on the Principals travel schedule (advance notice provided)
- August can be taken as unpaid leave (optional)
- A six-week trial period will precede a one-year contract
Main Responsibilities:
- Housekeeping: High-standard cleaning, laundry, and upkeep of a 5-bedroom home
- Cooking & Serving: Prepare and serve healthy, simple meals for family and guests
- General Maintenance: Window cleaning, minor repairs, gutters, small painting tasks, etc.
- Gardening: Care and maintenance of a small surrounding garden - mowing, pruning, weeding
- Driving: Including evening driving as needed, occasional trips to Swindon, London, and LHR
- Errands & Admin: Light property-related admin and general errands
What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced, reliable, and flexible individuals or couples
- Non-smokers only
- Discreet and professional with a background in hospitality or private households
- Proactive and confident in managing a variety of household tasks
- Comfortable with occasional guests and hosting
