M4 Recruitment are looking for a highly organised and proactive Sales Administrator to work for a well-established distribution company based in Cirencester. This role is crucial in supporting the sales function, managing customer accounts, processing orders, and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations. You will report directly to the General Manager and work closely with various internal departments to drive efficiency and maintain excellent customer service.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday (08:30 - 17:00)
Salary: £28,000 per annum. Rising to £28,500 after successful completion of a 3-month probation period.
Key Responsibilities:- Accurately process customer orders in a timely manner
- Maintain and update customer records and sales databases
- Prepare quotations, sales reports, and sales-related documentation
- Handle inbound customer enquiries with professionalism and care
- Liaise with internal teams including finance, logistics, and operations to ensure smooth order fulfilment
- Assist with sales meetings, including preparation of presentations and tracking team performance
- Provide general administrative support to the wider sales team
- Previous experience in a sales administration or office-based administrative role
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with ERP systems is desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Confident communication style with a friendly and approachable manner
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Professional, proactive, and solution-focused mindset
