Technical Account ManagerSalary c.£34k dep on experience + bonusMy fantastic global client based in Cirencester has an exciting new vacancy for someone with experience or a strong interest in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar.??????? What You’ll Be Doing

  • Be the first point of contact for customers in your designated sales area
  • Handle incoming enquiries, provide quotations, process and following up with clients
  • Support Area Sales Managers and work collaboratively to grow business in your region
  • Maintain and update sales activity in the CRM system (SAP)
  • Prepare accurate technical and commercial documentation
  • Identify new opportunities for business development and upselling
  • Assist with customer visits, exhibitions, and presentations
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, systems, and commercial) to support customer needs
  • Communicating with existing and lapsed customers

Must-Haves

  • Experience in a technical sales, internal sales, or customer support role
  • Technical qualification (ONC/HNC/HND) or equivalent experience in an engineering environment
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM/ERP systems (ideally SAP)
  • High level of commercial awareness and customer service focus

Nice-to-Haves

  • Previous experience working in engineering or industrial equipment sectors
  • Exposure to key account management or cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of a product range or similar technical products (product training will be provided)
  • Experience supporting field sales teams or external account managers
