Assistant Management Accountant

This isn't one of those jobs where you quietly tick off month-end and wait for someone to notice you've been promoted.

This is one of the UK's fastest-growing businesses in its sector - and with that growth comes opportunity.

They've scaled to 1,400 people and £ 100 m+ turnover by hiring people who roll up their sleeves and make stuff happen. People like you.

What you'll be doing:

  • Preparing month-end accounts, posting journals - accruals, prepayments, depreciation, balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare management accounts, with a sharp eye on cost control and performance.
  • Digging into variances and asking the awkward-but-important questions.
  • Supporting budgets and forecasts with insight, not just spreadsheets.
  • Acting as the bridge between Finance and Operations, and making a real difference.
  • Helping implement a new ERP system without losing your mind (or sense of humour).

This role will suit you if:

  • You're part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or graduate, looking to progress.
  • You're naturally curious - if something doesn't look right, you dig until it makes sense.
  • You like your numbers tidy and your ledgers clean.
  • You're comfortable juggling a bit of chaos - this place is growing fast.
  • You enjoy the buzz of being in the office 3 days a week, with the flexibility to work from home the other 2.

What's in it for you?

  • £30,000-£35,000 salary, plus study support.
  • 2 days a week WFH.
  • Exposure to senior leadership, operations, and systems projects.
  • Real opportunities to progress in a finance team that has a voice.

If you're ready to join a business that's going places - and take your career with it - apply now.
