We are looking to appoint enthusiastic, hardworking, and caring individuals to support students with SEMH and SEN needs to ensure they get the most from their education.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience as a teaching assistant or someone with experience working with children with complex needs. This is also an excellent opportunity for aspiring educational psychologists.

Teaching assistant main responsibilities

  • Manage student behaviour on a 1:1 basis
  • Work with teachers and SENCO to develop and implement individual learning plans
  • Be a positive role model for students and develop a productive working relationship
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and health and safety of students.

Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience working in a school setting
  • Ability to manage difficult behaviour and maintain a positive relationship with students
  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting students
  • Excellent communication skills
