Are you a roofing estimator, with experience in costing cladding, that is looking to join a large construction company that boasts projects ranging from £5m to £18m, in a role that offers a profit-related bonus and a company car or car allowance?
Are you experienced in working with both commercial and industrial projects, consulting with clients throughout projects and looking for a role that offers an early finish on a Friday and private healthcare?
This company was established over four decades ago and since then has expanded to conducting projects across the Central Belt. Now employing over 180 people, the company offer general building, and civil service assistance. They are trusted by large organisations in Scotland including Edinburgh council.
In this role the suitable candidate will be expected to conduct the initial surveys and costing of projects. You will need to liaise with the clients regularly and provide them with written quotations throughout the projects to maintain transparency. This is an office based role with occasional visits to site.

The Role:
- Attend meetings with clients and the rest of the estimating team
- Conduct initial surveys and costings to provide scope for projects
- Maintain contact with the clients throughout projects to ensure their needs are being met
- Support other departments throughout the projects to ensure successful completion
- Provide schedules for material deliveries and coordinate with the site team to ensure efficient timescales
- Work individually on some projects and in a team, of up to eleven
The Person:
- Experience in a similar role
- Experience working on industrial / commercial projects
