PSV Technician

Clacton-on-Sea 

£21 Per Hour (£43,680 Annually) + Regular Overtime (Approx. up to 10 Hours per Week) + 28 Days Holiday + Pension + Company Bus Pass + Training 

Working 5 days over 7 days, Rotating Shift Pattern Rota 40 hours per week

Shifts are 8 to 8.5 hours long (Earliest shift start can be 5.30am to start work and latest finish time 00:00) 

PSV Technician required for an industry leading company working on PSVs. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable company who can offer regular overtime for those looking to boost their earnings and further training. 

The successful candidate will be a vehicle mechanic and will have a minimum of an NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Level 3, or equivalent in an engineering discipline. This role would suit an experienced PSV / Bus Mechanic or HGV Technicians. 

This is a workshop-based role where you will be responsible for testing, servicing, and repairing vehicles. 

The PSV Technician Role:

· Servicing, maintenance and repair of PSV vehicles.

· Diagnosis/Fault finding checks of vehicles.

· Completing Pre MOT inspections and audits.

· Occasional breakdown support with use of a company van, within a local radius.

· Will be trained to become a fitter on PSV vehicles.
 

The PSV Technician Mechanic: 

· Minimum of NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Level 3, or equivalent in an engineering discipline.

· Previous experience on HGVs, PSV/PCVs, or similar
