Assembly Operative – Manufacturing / Production / Factory Role

We are seeking Assembly Operatives with experience in assembly, production, quality checking, or metal press operations to join our dynamic team. This role is being recruited in partnership with Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble small fixtures and fittings onto final products using manual dexterity and precision
• Follow basic technical drawings, instructions, and production schedules
• Operate automatic and semi-automatic machines to shape and form metal products
• Maintain high-quality standards through attention to detail and accuracy
• Ensure all work meets production and safety requirements

• Previous experience in assembly, production, or metalworking environments is essential
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and communication skills
• A willingness to learn, develop, and take on career progression opportunities

Hours & Shifts:

• Days regular
• Start times from 05:45
• £12.50ph for 12 weeks, then increasing to £12.86ph
