Engineering Estimator / Technical Sales
We are recruiting for an Estimator to work for our client who are located on the outskirts of Huddersfield, West Yorkshire/ Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
THE DUTIES :
- Research costs: Research the costs of materials, labour, equipment, and transportation
- Gather quotes: Get quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
- Assess risk: Evaluate the level of risk for a project
- Prepare estimates: Prepare estimates for labour and material costs for upcoming projects
- Prepare bids and tenders: Prepare bids and tenders for projects
- Evaluate projects: Evaluate potential projects and their cost-effectiveness
- search for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximise client potential in designated regions
- develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements
- negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:
- Minimum 2 years' experience working within an Engineering high precision manufacturing background.
- Excellent communication skills
THE HOURS:
Working on days – Monday – Thursday 8am – 4.30pm Friday 8am -12pm
THE PAY:
You will earn an annual salary of between £38k-48k depending on experience. Plus bonus
