Our client is seeking a meticulous and highly organised Data Administrator to join their portal team. Working in a team of three, you will be required to manage and improve the integrity of the organisation’s data systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing data storage solutions and supporting internal stakeholders in their data-related needs.

The duties of the Data Administrator are:

Data Management:

    • Organise and maintain company databases, ensuring data is accurate, complete, reliable, relevant, and timely
    • Support surveyors/analysts and administration staff, distributing and receiving data from around the company
    • Assist clients with data queries to find and effectively use their stored data
    • Update external databases with generated data
    • Troubleshoot and debug database issues

Data Security:

    • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR)
    • Create and manage client accounts

Data Reporting:

    • Collaborate with teams to provide data needed for reporting, analysis, and decision-making

Training:

    • Provide technical support and guidance to users experiencing data-related issues
    • Develop an understanding of relational databases

Experience required for the Data Administrator:

  • Strong Microsoft office suite skills, particularly excel
  • An understanding of relational databases, SQL is preferable
  • An understanding of Extract, Transform and Load concept is preferable
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks

This is an on-site permanent, full-time position, working Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm, with either ½ an hour lunch, or 1 hour lunch.
