We are currently seeking an experienced Welder/ Fabricator to join the team at this exciting time of expansion. PAY:

£16.00 - £17.00ph

Working Hours:  

Monday to Friday dayDuties and Responsibilities:• Carry out fabrication and welding of custom-made components.• Confidently read and interpret detailed engineering drawings to ensure accuracy and quality.• Assemble items to the required specification following any painting or finishing processes.• Safely and efficiently operate workshop equipment, including guillotine, band saw, press brake, pillar drill, and standard hand tools.• Adhere to all health and safety standards and follow internal procedures.• Conduct self-checks to maintain high standards of quality and precision.• Work independently, using initiative to troubleshoot issues and manage workload in line with production targets.• Play an active role in continuous improvement efforts and help maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

Skills & Experience:• Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in Fabrication and Welding.• Proven experience working with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.• Proficient in MIG and TIG welding to WPS standards, ensuring compliance and consistent quality. Skilled in both sheet metal work and frame fabrication, including layout, cutting, and forming to drawings.• Experienced in using a range of fabrication tools and machinery, including guillotine, band saw, press brake, pillar drill, and hand tools.• Strong ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings.• Sound understanding of health and safety best practices in the workplace.• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work accurately to fine tolerances.
