A school in Cleethorpes is seeking a motivated Primary ECT to join their team and support pupils in achieving their full potential.
About the Role:
As a Primary ECT, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across the primary curriculum. You will work closely with experienced teachers and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Your role will be crucial in helping pupils develop essential skills and a love for learning.
Key Responsibilities of the Primary ECT:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum, ensuring pupils make excellent progress.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued, supported, and motivated to learn.
- Use differentiated teaching strategies to cater for diverse learning needs, ensuring all pupils are challenged and engaged.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing regular feedback and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
- Work closely with class teachers and support staff to enhance the learning experience for all pupils.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child's progress and development.
- Uphold high standards of behaviour and classroom management, promoting a culture of respect and responsibility.
Primary ECT Requirements:
- A relevant degree in Primary Education or a closely related field, alongside Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A passion for child-centred learning and a commitment to inspiring young minds.
- Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to create a structured yet dynamic learning environment.
- Ability to use assessment data effectively to inform planning and drive pupil progress.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a school team.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
