Agile Delivery Manager - Higher Education- Virtual Learning

Agile Delivery Manager is needed to work with our prestigious Russell Group London based University on a permanent basis.

The Agile Delivery Manager will focus on a critical education product portfolio team which includes virtual learning and the management of their vital virtual learning platform, Moodle, supporting product owners to deliver agile products and services within this domain. The Agile Delivery Manager will be part of a broader established Agile Delivery management function supporting the University across a variety of related product and service workstreams.

Agile Delivery Manager Higher Education- Virtual Learning- Essential Experience

• Experience in delivering projects and products (services) using Agile methodologies and a range of agile delivery methods.
• Ability to provide Servant Leadership to multidisciplinary teams and enable them to self-organise.
• Experience of delivering change within a complex environment and managing budgets
• Experience of working with third parties and knowledge of technology delivery specifically.
• Experience balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity.
• Experience of managing multiple Agile projects across multiply teams or managing Agile Programmes
• Product or technical background with knowledge or experience of DevOps/SRE.
• Experience in transitioning Waterfall projects to Agile methodologies
• Experience in facilitating and organising multi-disciplinary teams.
• Good financial management of project budgets and reporting
• Experience in coaching team members in Agile practices
• Excellent facilitation, collaboration, and communication skills
• Good knowledge of Jira and other project management tools
• Exceptional interpersonal skills including the ability to persuade and influence stakeholders.
• Ability to understand complex customer demands and translate them into understandable user stories.
• Experience of managing 3rd party suppliers and a range or programme stakeholders.
• The ability to support, coach and enable multiple agile teams within the delivery domain to deliver specific products (services) or transformation.
• Experience of delivering complex projects, breaking down barriers and strategic planning at a higher level.

Agile Domain Delivery Manager- Higher Education- Virtual Learning-Desirable Experience

• Industry recognized Agile project management qualification.
• Experience of working within a Higher Education or Virtual learning domain with product knowledge of Moodle.
• Scaled Agile experience and or SAFe accreditation.

63,621 to 69,621 per annum DOE and internal team equity.
