JOB TITLE: Field Service Engineer

LOCATION: Depot - Clevedon with travel around the South West

THE PACKAGE: up to £36,000

THE BUSINESS: C4S Search are proud to be partnering with a sustainable energy company. Their main focus is manufacturing solar powered hybrid generators which can run on diesel and solar power. They are often used in construction, new housing builds and with the highways agency.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

  • Service equipment in line with planned service schedules and action repairs at various customer locations
  • Respond to call outs across the north of the UK in timely manner to minimise asset down time
  • Prepare rental equipment for subsequent hires
  • To attend sites to complete handovers of equipment and to help set up in line with customers’ requirements
  • To tow equipment to / from site as required

THE SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 in mechanical/auto electrical engineering qualification
  • Diesel engine & single-phase generator / invertor experience
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable with lone working
  • Ability to prioritise/manage your own workload and think on your feet to resolve a multitude of issues
  • Must be flexible & be prepared to travel as the business dictates

WORKING HOURS:

  • 8 hour shift (07:30 - 16:00)
  • 40 hours per week
  • Overtime available where necessary/required
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call requirements may apply
