Salary: £30,000 to £34,500 per annum

Schedule: 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (with an early finish on Fridays).

As a Commercial Spray Painter, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing vehicle bodies for the application of paint coating to different types of vehicle bodies and rolling stock
  • Painting solid and metallic finishes
  • Using and selecting appropriate tools, equipment, and materials as required for work tasks
  • Using your core technical skills and experience to complete tasks on time and safely
  • Communicating any discrepancies or changes to your supervisor and engineering teams
  • Ensuring your work area is maintained in a safe and tidy manner

The ideal Commercial Spray Painter will have:

  • Experience painting commercial vehicle chassis, cabs and bodywork
  • Comfortable with reading and working from technical drawings, schematics, and standard operating procedures
  • A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Motivated, and able to work in a deadline driven, busy environment
