We seek an IT Support Specialist to join a small but busy IT department who share responsibilities and knowledge.  With a track record of promotion from within they offer genuine career development and personal growth.

Working as part of a team you will resolve user queries wherever possible at first point of contact and within agreed service levels.  Your duties and responsibilities will include the following:

  • Answering, recording and responding to all incoming calls and emails to the IT Helpdesk.
  • Analyse and resolve 1st/2nd line incidents from all areas of the business within agreed service levels whilst ensuring immediate resolution is achieved wherever possible.
  • Provide support for a range of hardware (PC's, laptops, printers, mobile phones, switches & routers) and user administration within Office 365.
  • Partake in upgrade and refresh projects - option to visit sites with colleagues (in pairs) when installing/swapping out hardware

Knowledge & Experience:

Experience with Microsoft products and good customer service attitude. Experience working with the administration of Office365.  Proficient in hardware and able to support bespoke software following training. Proven ability to work to tight timescales and work both individually and as part of a team. As this is a remote support role excellent written and verbal communication skills are vital.

Required 2+ years' experience in an IT Helpdesk environment and be experienced in troubleshooting issues. Driving license is useful but not required.
