Role: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Coalville
Salary: Starting at £41,957 rising through two stages to a maximum of £47,064 depending on experience
Shifts: Double days rotating - Days (05:30 - 13:30) / Afternoons (13:30 - 21:30)
Are you an experienced electrically biased Maintenance Engineer looking to join a manufacturing company based in Coalville? You will have experience working within a manufacturing environment - ideally packaging, food or FMCG.
As a Maintenance Engineer, your role will involve:
- Ensure all equipment is maintained in a safe and serviceable condition
- Maximise performance and efficiency of machinery within the corrugating and conversion plant
- Minimise downtime by responding quickly to equipment failures and breakdowns
- Support and carry out installation and project work on site
- Develop and improve planned maintenance schedules
- Provide flexible cover for absence or sickness as required
Ideal candidate:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
- Ideally apprentice trained
- Minimum 3 years maintenance engineering experience
- Strong team player
- Manufacturing experience ideally from packaging/food/FMCG
- Willingness to drive continuous improvements
