They are looking for a Production Technician to support the assembly, testing, and maintenance of electronic components used in implantable medical devices.
Key Responsibilities for this Production Technician job, based in Oxford:
- Support engineering and production to meet manufacturing and product development targets.
- Carry out maintenance and calibration of manufacturing and test equipment.
- Collaborate on resolving technical issues affecting process or product performance.
- Assist in qualifying and implementing new processes and test methods.
- Assemble and test specimens to support validation activities.
- Maintain clear and compliant documentation for processes and procedures.
- Support continuous improvement and ensure high standards of safety and quality.
Qualifications and Skills required for this Production Technician job:
- A technical qualification in mechanical engineering or electronics.
- Experience supporting production or test environments.
- Familiarity with equipment maintenance and calibration.
- Exposure to cleanroom practices and regulated environments is advantageous.
- Hands-on skills in moulding, laser welding, soldering, or electronic assembly.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
