Job Responsibilities
North West Leicestershire District Council is seeking a proactive and experienced individual to join our Home Improvement Team. This role involves overseeing and carrying out component replacement works across our housing stock, including kitchens, boilers, bathrooms, rewires, roofing, doors, and windows.
  • Oversee and execute component replacement works across housing stock.
  • Ensure all works are completed to required standards, in line with current regulations and manufacturer instructions.
  • Effectively liaise with the Asset Management Support Team for efficient job scheduling.
  • Commit to meeting project timescales and deadlines.
  • Maintain full compliance with Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Person Specification
  • Minimum 1 year of experience supervising a team of operatives.
  • Proven trade background, preferably within social housing.
  • Experience working in a customer/tenant-facing environment.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel for updating trackers and reporting.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own transport.
  • Two references required, including one from the most recent employer.
