NET Recruit is searching the market for a Head of Pay and Reward to join a services business, located in the Leatherhead area.  You RoleWhile in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Developing and implementing the total reward strategy, ensuring this aligns with business goals
  • Designing competitive reward structures for pay, bonuses, benefits and incentives
  • Leading activities surrounding job evaluation, market analysis and pay benchmarking in order to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Managing the annual pay review process and incentive schemes
  • Taking leadership of the reward and pay teams, managing their KPIs and providing training support where needed
  • Reviewing and selecting team member benefits programs including pension and healthcare
  • Promoting team member recognition initiatives to ensure fair compensation
  • Collaborating with the system teams to develop reward dashboard and metrics, alongside trend information and analysis to influence key commercial and also market insight related decision making
  • Overseeing payroll for all team members, ensuring that statutory payments and deductions are processed, and leading payroll and benefit system upgrades and implementations
  • Submitting returns to HMRC and other regulatory bodies, and ensure compliance with HMRC and tax, employment and tax legislation
  • Providing trend information and analysis to support
  • Ensuring that appropriate controls are in place as well as audit trails and reconciliations
You MUST HavePlease apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria:
  • Relevant qualification (CIPD/CIPP)
  • Significant experience in managing both payroll and reward, including introducing new benefits, supplier engagement, conducting market comparisons and utilising job evaluation methodologies
  • Exposure to working within a large, multi-site business within reward and payroll
  • Excellent knowledge of payroll legislation, UK reward regulations, HMRC and pension schemes
  • Good systems knowledge, including specific experience in using iTrent payroll and Wagestream
  • Experience in change management, as well as payroll transitions and implementations
  • Fantastic leadership capabilities, supplemented by sound communication and stakeholder engagement skills
