IT SUPPORT ASSISTANT

We are recruiting an IT Support professional for a super SME based in Surrey.

Excellent Benefits package and Hybrid working.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborated with users to gather and define business requirements related to the MSS system and, where applicable, its subsidiary systems.

  • Developed custom programs to integrate with the MSS platform and associated systems, based on detailed specifications. Technologies used include Oracle SQL, Microsoft SQL, Unix, C#, MSS Letters, MSS configuration, RPA, Datastore DSX, and Transform.

  • Conducted thorough testing of developed programs prior to deployment to ensure they met agreed specifications and user expectations.

  • Worked closely with users to support their understanding of the MSS system and internally developed applications, providing guidance and clarification where needed.

  • Provided support for resolving issues related to in-house software solutions and third-party applications.

  • Assisted in resolving Sopra service tickets in coordination with the IT Service Desk.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across various levels of the organization.

  • Highly proactive and detail-oriented with a positive, solution-focused approach.

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail.

  • Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to work independently under minimal supervision.

  • Solid understanding of the Sopra MSS system and its applications.
