Your New Company

Join a company that boasts of a true British heritage based in the picturesque region of Cumbria. My client I seeking a competent HR Generalist/Manager to join them on a part time basis (24 hours) to work onsite in there offices in Cockermouth.Your New RoleAs the HR Manager, you will work part-time (24 hours per week) and be based on-site in Cockermouth, Cumbria. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will collaborate with senior management, key stakeholders, and HR colleagues to shape, develop, and deliver HR plans and solutions aligned with the business's needs and priorities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert HR advice on performance, attendance, and employee relations.
  • Managing the annual performance appraisal system.
  • Overseeing payroll and ensuring timely and accurate staff payments.
  • Learning & Development initiatives
  • Collaborating with the Talent Acquisition Manager on recruitment processes.
  • Developing and managing learning and development plans.
  • Providing expert HR advice and guidance to managers and staff on HR matters, including performance, attendance and employee relation issues.

What You Will Need to Succeed

  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Proven track record as a Generalist HR Manager with experience in coaching, mentoring, and recruitment.
  • CIPD qualification (Level 5 or Level 7What You Will Get in Return
