Despatch Co-ordinator – Pulborough, West Sussex

We’re recruiting a Despatch Co-ordinator for an engineering manufacturer in Pulborough. This Despatch Co-ordinator role focuses on organising daily shipments, booking couriers, and ensuring products leave site on time and correctly documented.
As the Despatch Co-ordinator, you will work closely with manufacturing and sales to confirm what’s ready to ship, plan despatches, and keep delivery expectations clear.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and book UK and international shipments using courier portals
- Prepare shipping paperwork and export documents
- Liaise with manufacturing and sales on shipment readiness
- Pack goods securely and load/unload vehicles when required
- Maintain accurate records and follow health, safety, and quality procedures
What we’re looking for
- Previous despatch, dispatch, shipping, or logistics experience
- Confident with Outlook and basic Excel
- Good attention to detail and organisation
- FLT Counterbalance experience desirable, not essential
