Are you organised, detail-focused, and ready to play a vital role in supporting efficient production? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Materials Co-ordinator to join a high-tech manufacturing environment where precision, productivity and lean practices are at the core of success.

As a Materials Coordinator, you’ll be instrumental in managing the flow of kits, consumables, tooling, and sub-assemblies through manufacturing operations. You’ll ensure materials are always in the right place at the right time, allowing production teams to focus on building, testing and delivering high-performance technology.

Key Responsibilities of the Materials Coordinator:

  • Organise, distribute and manage production kits, tooling, and consumables according to production schedules
  • Move materials efficiently between manufacturing stages, ensuring timely progression and high product quality
  • Act as the key link between Manufacturing and Stores to resolve kit issues and maintain workflow
  • Maintain accurate inventory within the Supermarket area and support lean manufacturing practices like JIT and Kanban


What We’re Looking for in a Materials Coordinator:

  • Strong organisational skills and experience in material handling
  • Good computer literacy, especially with Outlook and Excel
  • A proactive team player with attention to detail and a hands-on approach
  • Familiarity with lean methodologies (e.g., JIT, Kanban) and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment
